KONDE, a bronzed, brilliant, provocative wine more than a decade in the making. KONDE is a blend of 2009 Rebula and other mixed white varieties that were co-macerated with the skins in qvevri for 6 months, and then aged sous voile, in partially filled barrique for 13 years. It is a deep study into the transformative potential that deliberate oxidation allows. Evocative of Slovenia while winking to Georgia and the Jura. Old in sensibility, but intricate, understated, suave and resonant. A haunting emotional aesthetic.
