2015 was the first harvest from the vineyard of 14 Georgian varieties that Beka and his family planted in 2012. The yield was not enough to vinify varieties independently so from 5 hectares they made a few thousand liters of this special field blend. The wine was fermented in qvevri, spent some time in old used barrels where it was fortified. Later it was moved back into qvevri. Even after fortification the wine fermented slowly protecting it from oxidation and resulting in something that is at once dry and sweet. Something festive and new, perfect to share along with a cake or a sweetened pate.
