Kisi along with many of the Kakhetian varieties is very much at home in Beka's region of Kvemo Kartli. Perhaps even more so than in Kakheti. This vintage is a classic expression of the grape sort. Full skin and stem contact for 7 months make for a textured, perfumed wine with Kisi's characteristic pepperiness front and center. The ideal companion for BBQ pork, carnitas or Kinkhali with fresh cracked pepper.
